Anavah-Gentleness

For the Fruit of the Spirit is Gentleness.( Avanah)
So what is Gentleness?
Here are a few things it is not...
Gentleness is not weakness or Cowardice.
Gentleness is not passiveness or inactivity....

Gentleness is Strength..
All examples of gentleness in the Bible are strong and in control, not weak & out of control...
"Gentleness is Strength, but its strength under control-it's restrained strength..
Gentleness is all about care and concern for others, especially the weak & vulnerable.. It's about putting your own agenda on hold & considering the comfort of the other person...
God is powerful, but in his power he cares for people, especially the weak...
The Old Testament is full of examples where God treats people gently, Not necessarily as they deserve..
He restrains his power & anger by merciful patience,moving people to reform their ways....
Oh God  how I love your Gentleness. Thank you for loving me...
I pray:
That the beauty of your Gentleness will be seen in my face...
The tone of your Gentleness will be seen in my speech...
The Gentleness of your tread, will be seen in my footsteps..
And the Gentleness of you touch 'Oh Lord will be seen in my hands....
Your most precious Son Jesus Christ, I ask these things....

"Quietly trust yourself to Christ your Lord, and if anybody asks why you believe as you do, be ready to tell him, and DO IT in a Gentle way"..

"Keep me Still 'Oh Lord"

When we are still. We can discover face to face intimacy with God...
And until we learn to come before him in Quietness of Spirit,Mind, & body.."WE CANNOT"..
Psalm 62:1
"My soul waits in silence for God only"
Intimacy with God begins with a quiet heart... STOP and know he is God...
Snuggle against his heart... Awwww that feels so good....
Listen as he speaks through his word, by the spirit...
Stillness is necessary to hear God's voice....
The greatest blessing connected with stillness is that we hear eternity as the Greater One speaks to our conscience...
I pray...
Lord, I have a noisy heart... help me be STILL..
You once spoke peace to the wind and the waves...
Speak your stillness over my heart..
I Praise you Lord... For I know Praise is like a garment.. We can make a choice to put it on as we do our clothing...
And the constant wearing of a Garment of Praise will ward off what comes during a season of Pain:
Discouragement. Dispair, & Depression...
I love you sooo much Lord...
Thank you for all the Blessings you give..
I am just soo thankful.....
